摘要 | 文物蟲害防治是博物館預防性保存工作重要的一環。化學藥劑往往能迅速、有效地達到預防或防除目的,但藥劑殘留不僅導致文物劣化,也為人員健康及環境保護造成衝擊;因此文物保存界逐漸以低溫、高溫或氣體置換等物理方法取代化學防治法。本文係綜合長久以來國內、外文物保存界就早期化學防治法使用文物燻蒸劑及殺蟲藥劑,以及物理防治法氣體置換造成缺氧等蟲害防除方法,探討這些文物蟲害防治法之利弊以及對文物可能造成之影響。
Pest control is an important part of the effort to conserve cultural property in museums. Insecticides or repellants may provide efficient and effective prevention or control of pests, however chemical residues not only cause deterioration of cultural property, but also impact on human health and the environment. Therefore, conservators have been replacing chemical treatments with physical methods, such as low temperature, high temperature and inert gas. The objectives of this article are to discuss the effects of conventional chemical control methods, using repellants, fumigants, and insecticides, and physical control methods, such as inert gas, to explore their advantages and disadvantages in the conservation of cultural property and their possible impacts on Western colorants and traditional Chinese pigments. |
