著作名稱國家自然史博物館蒐藏意義與認同建構:以國立自然科學博物館「啟綻驚‧華---百件典藏精華特展」為例
摘要Base on the different aims, museums play the different roles in the social culture. National museums have the great responsibility of inheriting national history and culture to present the national collective consciousness and national identity. One of the most essential to demonstrate the museum presents its role and function of the representative, is the collections. To de-contextualize and re-contextualize the objects’ interpretation through the exhibitions and educational activities, museums then make people to take this understanding and create a sense of national identity to shap the collective memory of the national citizens ideologically.

The collections of the National Museum of Natural Science in Taiwan was from zero in 1986 and has build up more than one million objects and specimens at present. The Museum is taking place a special exhibition of “Open up the Precious ” to celebrate its 25th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China. One hundred objects have been chosen for displaying in the exhibition and they mean there were 100 stories behind the national treasures. The paper will take an example from this exhibition to discuss how the Museum provides 100 objects to shap the natioal identity and collective consciousness to the audiences. It will also examine how the exhibition contextualization to response the political nature for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China. Finally, the analysis of the audience online voting top 10 objects (by the Museum) and the questionnaire (by the researchers) will be addressed if the exhibition conveys the national identity and collective memory to the people.
