| 摘要 | 2020 至 2021 年間，本研究作者協同調查志工於金門縣進行兩棲爬行動物資源調查時，於瓊林水庫首次發現一分類地位未定之壁虎屬物種(Gekko sp. )，詳細檢視其外觀形質後，將其鑑定為新紀錄種—梅氏壁虎 Gekko melli (Vogt 1922)。本研究所回顧， 過往金門地區鉛山壁虎 Gekko hokouensis Pope 1928 與蹼趾壁虎 Gekko
subpalmatus (Günther 1864)的調查紀錄，可能為本種之誤鑑定。本種主要分布於太武山系周邊及其延伸地區，其餘地點僅有零星紀錄，共記錄 138 隻次；鉛山壁虎於本研究期間僅在雙鯉濕地周邊發現 6 隻次。2021 年 9 月份的調查中亦有在樹縫中發現雌性成體與卵，雖可確認繁殖，但金門地區的梅氏壁虎是原生或外來族群尚待後續確認。根據現有文獻資訊，由於蹼趾壁虎複合群(Gekko subpalmatus complex)中部分物種的外觀形質在不同族群間有所差異，未來須利用遺傳分析，更進一步確認金門本島的梅氏壁虎與蹼趾壁虎複合群各成員之間的親緣關係。
During the herpetofauna survey in Kinmen from 2020-2021, we found a newly recorded Gekko species. Based on its morphological characters, we identify this species as Gekko melli (Vogt 1922). Previous records of the Gekko hokouensis Pope 1928 and Gekko subpalmatus (Günther 1864) reviewed in our study are likely to be misidentification of this species. Current known distribution of this species is mainly in Mt. Taiwu and the adjacent area, with a total of 138 records. We only gathered six records
of G. hokouensis in Shuang-Li wetland during our survey period. We found a female
individual along with eggs of G. melli during the survey in September, 2021 as
confirmation of successful reproduction of this species. However, whether populations in Kinmen are native or invasive remains undetermined. Base on published literatures, there are geographical variations in morphology of members belonging to the Gekko
subpalmatus complex. The phylogenetic relationship between G. melli in Kinmen Island
and other members of G. subpalmatus complex requires further confirmation. |
