| 摘要 | A newly naturalized Begonia hirtella Link in Taiwan is reported in this article. This species was a famous ornamental crop, had been introduced to many countries, and naturalized in India, Hawaii and United States. In Taiwan, B. hirtella was found in low altitudes of central and northern parts, on the roadsides or in the greenhouses. This species may be an invasive species with high risk in the future due to its well-regeneration in the wild, and possibility of hybrid with native species is also discussed. The morphological comparison of B. hirtella with B. cucullata was also provided in this article for the identification. |
