| 摘要 | This paper focuses on the taxonomic study of a Jurassic radiolarian assemblage from Busuanga Island, North Palawan Block, Philippines. Fifty-six species and twenty-five genera are discussed herein. Nine new species are described. The assemblage contains many diagnostic multicyrid nassellarians including the genera Praeparvicingula, Hsuum and Elodium. Assemblages containing similar taxa are also known from central and southwest Japan. Comparisons between Busuanga assemblage and Japanese assemblages are discussed herein. The age of the studied assemblage is interpreted to be early Middle Jurassis (early Aalenian). The presence of common Praeparvicingula and abundant pantanellids in red ribbon cherts indicates that this fauna is a Northern Tethyan or Southern Tethyan assemblage. |
